Time for my favorite post! I love having a list of things to recommend to friends and really a great list for me to have on hand. I’m calling this the cozy comfy favorites because, well it’s January and the only reason I’m going outside right now its for my Amazon prime deliveries and to make sure the cows have water! HA
- Gilligan & OMalley Robe: I was going to tell you to stop reading this and go order this robe now….but it looks like its sold out. Because its really that good. So good, that I have live it in from the time I walk in the door in the evenings to the minute I go to bed. Its a creamy white, soft as butter and the perfect length.
While this one is sold out, (I did find a black version on Amazon!) really the entire Gilligan and OMalley sleepwear line is perfection.
2. Powersheets from Cultivate What Matters: I’m a planner by nature and a big Cultivate What Matters fan- so these are a no brainer. I actually used the very early versions of these four/five years ago in college and fell out of the habit. In the past year, I got back on board with them and I’m not kidding when I say they are my most used tool, right behind my Daydesigner planner.
I’ve been toying with the idea of sharing my goals/monthly updates here because I love reading these on other people’s blogs, but I’m not sure if yall would like those here. Let me know! I’d love your opinion.
3. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick: Hear me when I say, I’m not a makeup girl and I LOVE this lipstick. I’ve got it in Patina-Dusty Rose and it really is the perfect everyday color. It goes on easy like lip gloss but dries like a lipstick and it looks fabulous all day. ALL day. Here’s how much I love it- I’ve carried it with me everyday for a month and not lost it. That’s saying a lot coming from the girl who loses her chapstick in the same day she opens it.
4. True South Puzzle: Don’t laugh! And don’t discount this idea yet! I’ve been trying to change the way my evenings and whine down routine. Less scrolling, more readings, more “quiet mind” activities. I spotted these puzzles in a little shop over Christmas and I had to get one. The maps are beautifully done- very vintage-y and they are from Tennessee.
I’ve had it set up for a couple weeks on the coffee table in the living room and I crack up very time someone comes over because they all sit down and try to place a piece. It’s funny to watch- it’s like a instinct to put a piece down.
I’ve got two bonus sections I want to add- keep reading below!
What I’m watching: Forever and always, The West Wing. I bet I have watched this series a hundred times but it is my favorite right behind Friday Night Lights. I swear, 90’s/early 2000’s Tv was the best!
